Heading to Empire State Building. http://www.esbnyc.com during lunch hour to sign some papers and hand over deposit check (27k) for co-op. Most expensive check i've ever written, and probably will be for a while. 

Wore shorts to work today for first time this year.  Expect the temperature in NYC to drop 30 degrees by 5pm.

Ate breakfast at home for 2nd time in two days (also 2nd time in about 3 years for weekday breakfast).  Also packed lunch, $25 a day on food is too much to spend when i'm trying to buy a place.

Two messages on cell phone about co-op.  Stupid phone keeps bumping into other things in pocket and going to silent.

I don't have to be interviewed by the board, which is good news (although people tell me i clean up nice when i want to) because i was nervous about it.   Cleaned out a stock portfolio i've had for about 12 years (since i could start working) for the down payment.  Didn't feel bad at all since the first time i've talked to the new broker (old one retired three years ago) was today. 

Waiting to hear on mortgage and feeling old about it >.<
